Relaxed but elegant (or at least not too hillbilly – and I mean that in the sincerest way)

I love the look that these tin can vases can give – very sweet, but keeping with a country “feel.” Curtis and I are looking for a feel to the wedding and the after parties that celebrates love, family and friends. We don’t need it to be extravagant, or frilly, or budget-busting/never eat anything but oatmeal again sort of party. We know that it isn’t about the day, but about the life afterwards that counts. Still, I’d like it to have some personality….

Colors – I like pink. Hot pink. Fun pink. Pale pink. Not pepto pink, mind you. But pink.  I also loved the bright aqua blue and black recently used at the MOMS Brunch, and am very much on board for using that fabric on the tables for the cake reception. But I love pink. Really want to stay away from red, white and blue – so how about pinks, ivory and ____. You fill in the blank.

Love mason jar lanterns for candles and vases. What a cute look that is!

country elegance, right?

I bought 10 bags of pink raffia for 10 cents when Flower Factory was going out of business, so have that to tie around whatever we want. (Or not – I only spent a dime, so OK not using it)

Looking for a fun celebration of love, family, and friends.
